The Episode Review Picspam of doom!

Okay,before you click and take a look at the picspam I'd like to rec you THIS interesting and very well done post about picspamming made by

bellanut.She has a great visual sense and she is very smart;in my opinion her wonderful eye for details make her one the best in the art of picspamming!;D

So,Jump the Shark?Kripke you win and we all jumped with your show last thursday!Because it was dangerous and risky but everyone did a fantastic job,from the writers to the director,and last but not least, to the ACTORS!
I know,you're thinking I'm crazy because I've already posted my picspam!Truth is that while I was working on the pics I played with black and white too,and since this episdoe was intense and awesome enough to win the B&W award...I thought you could enjoy it!;D
I promise I won't stalk you anymore with my picspams,at least not before the next episode!:P
You can use the pics as banners or whatever but please give me credit!

I think we all agree about John not being a monk!We was always on the road,his life was tragic but I guess he was also a ~~manly~~ man (*cough*and our pants remember that too*cough*) and he didn't do anything wrong!He also took his responsibilities and tried to be what he never could have been for Sam and Dean!What makes me angry is not the "lying to them" thing but the "YOU DID THIS TO DEAN" thing!!!You know,I don't blame John for not telling about Adam to Sam,they were not in good terms and the news could have been like a bomb,but Dean...left alone physically and emotionally,whose only concern has always been taking care of his brother and being a good son for his father!I'm not saying I hate John,he wasn't perfect and heroes in shiny armours are fake,I'm just thinking about how all roads lead to Dean Winchester,how much he's given in his life and keep on giving despite all the tragedy around him!In this particular scene Jensen show us a shocked,disappointed,sad,jealous and grown-up Dean...all in his flickerin' eyes!

Dean said Sammy and in the last scene said buddy too!
I miss Dean using those names for his brother!♥

Dean was always "behind",in the background,when Sam was around Adam!

I love how Sam looks all cold and professional in the episode!

Dear Sam,your NOT-CARING thing is kind of scary!
It's not good and it's not ok!

Stubborn-never quitting Dean FTW!!!!!!!!!

This is as gorgeous as the last one. :) Deep commentary this time that I really enjoyed!

I've been struggling to figure out what subtext I want to select for that last scene ("take it any way you want"). It's dark and ominous, mostly. YIKES!

This episode has probably my favourite shot of all time in SPN - the overly blue shot of Sam and his shotgun in the house... which is the one shot you put in B&W last spam, I think. OMG that was awsum. :D

And thanks for that link because not only was THAT entertaining but via that link I found Bellanut's spams for best Dean and Sam faces and spent the last 20 minutes giggling my ass off like a fool!

And Sam is cold and professional, yes. It wouldn't necessarily be scary if this wasn't so different from the Sam Dean was used to before he went to hell.

Sam is so different from the old one!I still think he is the same person,he is just grownin' up and it's damn sad it's happening in the middle of the "I have to stop the Apocalypse" thing!He just need to be less arrogant,but you know....have you ever met someone who listen to family's advices?;D

This is amazing. The black and white really works beautifully for this episode--which was pretty stark in itself--and your cap choices take full advantage of the possibilities of balck and white. I loved the ep even though it was incredibly sad. Jensen and Jared both were pretty amazing displaying a wide range of reactions to Adam. Dean was so conflicted between jealousy and resentment for the things John did for Adam and his warring desire to protect another apparently innocent younger brother. Sam's attitude just plain hurt. He is in a bad, bad place. I hope with all my heart he can come back from there--for his sake and for Dean's.

Very complex episode,there was so much about John,Dean and Sam in it!
It was SAD but when I look at Dean I can only see hope!Because despite all the tragedy around him,from the very beginning till now,he still is the same,he still GIVES everything and I'm sure we still have to see him "rise"!I want him to detach himself from his brother and father...and act like the real Dean Winchester!

I think maybe Dean idealized too much his father and now he's just seeing him like a normal man,with flaws...still his hero though!;D

The commetary in here rocked, I'm so happy you decided to post your second picspam!

I love how they did that throughout the episode, with Dean in the background, then Sam in the background, sometimes both of them behind a faceshot of Adam... it was a cool quirk.

The directing was awesome!

I watched both picspam back to back and it's no wonder that the black and white is my favorite. Your coloring is always awesome but there's something in the amount of shadows and light of your b&w pictures that makes me re-live moments from the episode, gives me the same emotion. Like the cap with Adam behind Dean and the close-up of Dean's eyes, a moment that shines and multiplies its meaning in the still.
This said, I LOVE IT! Oh, Dean, Oh, Sam.

When I work on a picspam I always crop and colour the images and strangely,the black and white ones have the same colouring,I just add a mask and then play with the curves!But this simple trick hides a very important meaning:coloured pics are the heart,b&w ones are the soul!;D
