Anyway,a couple of months ago smilla02  wrote THIS wonderful Sweet Charity fic for me and reading it was so overlwhelming that I promised her an illustration,or better...my personal interpretation of the story!

oh my god, you have such gorgeous use of cropping and the right angsty images to create that final collage. I especially love that blue brushwork behind John because it creates a lovely 'light' backdrop. As always, your use of text and font is awesome, I love the impact it makes :D

Non so da dove cominciare! :D E non so perchè pensavi di dovermi spiegare questo perchè è così lampante che è ciò che io vedo in quella storia, ciò che ho cercato di esprimere.
Ogni immagine a partire dalla prima è meravigliosa e piena di significato. I colori scuri, l'effetto spezzato come in uno specchio rotto, Castiel! e John!!!! ♥ la sua immagine così grande rispetto a Dean e Sam, espressione del loro inconscio; John che è così importante nella loro vita, sia la sua approvazione sia il suo rispetto, per entrambe, anche se in modo diverso. E allo stesso tempo entrambe sono irragiungibili.
Per non parlare della tua tecnica, che è perfetta, senza alcun difetto. Queste cover mi ricordano un dipinto, sì. L'uso delle textures e dei colori per sottolineare un'espressione come dietro a John, la drammaticità della terza immagine è particolarmente emozionante.
E emozionata sono io per questo meraviglioso regalo! Grazie infinite, Sil. TVTB!

Mi fai paura ora,hai interpretato le mie illustrazioni alla perfezione!Allora...ti piace l'effetto dello specchio rotto?!!?Sono così felice di essere riuscita a trasporre graficamente l'intreccio di idee e sentimenti che questa storia ha creato!Ne sono davvero orgogliosa perchè per me è stato come dipingere,ho "usato" la stessa intimità e sono riuscita a dare lo stesso effetto di un pennello!♥

I loved this story so much, and your illustrations are not just beautifully done, they also capture the story for me. It was the image of Dean in the pieces of the mirror that formed the basis for how I felt the story, and you have taken that feeling with all its broken, jagged edges and translated it into art. Smilla's fic deserves the best, and she got it in spades with your beautiful work.
